Review settings and the evidence they produce
Document review
A drawing register links each quotation to a revision. Supplier changes to bolt grade, connection geometry or member size must be returned for review instead of being treated as equivalent by default.
Material review
Material certificates should connect the proposed steel grade to the supplied batch and piece identification. Missing traceability is recorded as an open issue for the buyer and inspector, rather than filled with an assumed certificate.
Shipment review
A piece-mark schedule lets the receiving team reconcile packages with erection drawings. Packing photos describe condition at one stage; they cannot establish the condition after unloading or replace the transport survey agreed for the shipment.
Request the working documents
In a quotation comparison, a hot-dip galvanized member calls for coating and repair evidence at cut edges or welds. A painted member calls for surface-preparation and dry-film-thickness records. Ask both suppliers to state exposure assumptions and how damage will be repaired after transport. The buyer can then compare maintenance responsibilities as well as the purchase price.

Ask for a project-specific screening scope, including the proposed facility, available process evidence and unresolved verification needs. No public certification is implied by this request.
